Travel

Schoolhouse Safari is headquartered in the heart of Acadiana just a mile away from Lafayette High School on West Congress Street. 

We will travel up to 30 miles to provide our services for no additional fee. 

Contact us for travel fees outside of the Acadiana area.

Deposit

Within 48 hours of reserving your event date, a $75 deposit may be required. 

This deposit is completely refundable as long as Schoolhouse Safari is contacted via phone call 7 days or more before the event date and time. 

(*Note, if we are unable to answer the phone, please leave a voicemail and we will call back to confirm that we received your call). 

Safety

Our company is built of a staff experienced in both animal handling and education, giving us the ability to maintain a safe environment for children and our animal ambassadors.

As with dealing with any live animals, guests must be able to follow basic safety instructions and parental supervision is highly advised for children under the age of 10.

Set-Up

Schoolhouse Safari is a traveling experience that brings everything we need with us! 

All we need from you is a spot out of direct sunlight to set up our table. 

Chairs for event guests are recommended but not required. 

*In the event of extreme weather or evening events, electricity may be required for light or heating*

The Animals

Our animals are not just great ways to educate, but they're also loved pets.

Just like humans, some animals have bad days so we do not guarantee encounters with any specific pets however we do promise that your guests will get hands-on time with more than one of our friendly critters!
