Our crew of friendly critters come from all over! Many of our animals were surrendered or donated to us from previous pet-parents who could no longer keep their pets. Some have been purchased from some of Louisiana’s great local animal vendors after weeks or months of research and time put into preparing to feed, house and care for each specific animal. Once we attain a new addition, we spend as much time as needed to temperament-test and bond with the animal to make sure they’re a good fit for our mobile animal encounters. Each individual creature has their own personalities and habits. Spending the weekends and evenings interacting with youngsters can be a stressful life for any animal so we make sure each of our animal ambassadors are healthy and happy to be pet and held by children (as long as it’s done so supervised and gently.) If we sense any of our animals to be in distress, we will temporarily or permanently remove them from our crew.

We are not currently a non-profit rescue however are associated with a few local programs.
